Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was robbed in the street in Buckingham yesterday (Thursday).

The 22-year-old student was walking along Chandos Road towards the University of Buckingham at about 1.10pm when he was approached from behind by two men, one of whom pushed him in the chest and stole £20 out of his trouser pocket. The second man searched the victim’s bag and stole a new iPhone 4 which was still in its box. They then ran into the Royal Latin School grounds.

The two men were described as white and in their early 20s. One was wearing a white hooded top, the other a black hooded top. Both were wearing baseball caps and had their hoods up.
