WOMEN and teenage girls in Brackley are being urged to be wary after a woman was sexually assaulted in Old Town.

Police are linking an attack, which happened on Thursday, February 23, to a second incident where 15-year-old girl was followed by a man in baggy trousers in Manor Road at around 8.20pm on Tuesday, February 28.

In the first incident a woman in her thirties was walking in Old Town when she crossed open fields at around 11.15am. She was approached from behind and pushed to the floor and then sexually assaulted.

The attacker is described as being slim, in his mid to late 40s, around 5ft 7ins tall, with short blond spiked hair.

Police have now issued an artist’s impression of a man they wish to speak to in connection with these attacks.

Anyone with information should call Northants CID on 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
