Brackley youngsters are to be given an opportunity to voice their opinions on what facilities they want to see in the town at an informal meeting taking place next week.
Following the recent Youth Brackley survey, young people will get a chance to discuss how to move things forward at a meeting on Wednesday, October 16, at 5.15pm in the Courtyard Coffee Shop.
Nearly ten per cent of the town’s ten to 19-year-olds took part in the survey which resulted in a skate park and cinema topping their wish list.
Richard Butler, who set up and funded the survey, is hoping as many youngsters as possible will take the opportunity to develop their ideas further.
He said: “I don’t think anyone has ever sat down with them and asked them face to face what they want.
“They have many valid points and have a right to have their say.”
The scheme is also supported by Brackley town mayor Peter Rawlinson and the aim is for these ideas to be forwarded to the relevant authorities and organisations.
