PEOPLE with unwanted mobile telephones are being urged to recycle them to raise money for charity and help the environment at the same time.
The Scope charity shop, in Market Hill in Buckingham, took part in Bring a 'Phone to Work Day on Monday, which challenges businesses to take unwanted mobile 'phones into their workplace and drop them off into their nearest Scope shop.

The shop accepts 'phones and printer cartridges all year round and sends them away for recycling.

For every 'phone given to Scope, the charity receives £3.

People can also call Scope on 02076 197234 to request a freepost envelope which they can use to send their old mobile back.
