FOOTBALL: Great Horwood FC are celebrating their first ever league and trophy double success.

Shortly after securing the North Bucks League Intermediate Division title, the village side (pictured) beat Bow Brickhill 5-1 in the Trophy final on Tuesday in front of hundreds of supporters.

Brickhill led 1-0 but Horwood hit back to make it 1-1 at the break, with four goals added by Horwood in the second period. Player manager Terry Cronin fired a brace, with Andy Brunning, Adam Dixon and Darren Sirett netting one apiece.

Horwood have gone through the season unbeaten.
