Saints boss Jon Brady is confident his side can overcome FC Halifax on Sunday in the Blue Square North play-off final.

A 3-0 win over Altrincham on Saturday saw Brackley into the final, where they will face Halifax who beat Guiseley 3-1 on aggregate.

Brady said: “There’s only one thing to do now and that’s go and win it.

“We’re potentially 90+ minutes away and we’ll go and give it one hell of a go.

“The dream all along is to have the sort of atmosphere we had today (Saturday) here at St James’ Park playing teams like Luton Town week in, week out and for the town to come out like they have today.

“This is what Darren Collins and myself, these are the sort of crowds we played in and this is what you want and these are the games you live for.”
