Brackley Town manager Jon Brady was thrilled with his side’s work ethic during their opening two wins against Altrincham and Hinckley United.
Saints have made a dream start to the new campaign having scored nine goals and taken six points from six.
And Brady feels that is mostly down to how hard his players work.
He said:“I think our work ethic is what has got us these two results. We expect the players to work extremely hard when we haven’t got possession.”
“The desire to do well between the players and not having the fear to play is really good.”
Brackley produced a superb performance to thrash Hinckley 5-0 in a one-sided contest on Tuesday evening.
Brady added: “My back four were outstanding and Gary Mulligan worked the line well and Elliot [Sandy] always wants to score and he’s the one making the difference with the goals.
“I thought tonight if we had scored eight, it would have been fair to be honest. I don’t think Billy [Turley] had a save to make.”
One statistic in particular caught Brady’s eye, which was the lack of fouls that Brackley committed – only five throughout.
He added: “I think that stat shows what we’ve worked intensively hard and that shows in the fitness levels and the discipline’s right.
“To only concede five fouls all game is incredible.”
