Buckingham Town manager Neil Griffiths is well aware that his side face a tough task this evening when they host title challengers Northampton Sileby Rangers.
Following three weeks without a match, the Robins remain third from bottom in UCL Division One with 10 games left.
Griffiths said: “I have no doubt we will be in for a very strong reaction from Sileby after we played very well against them last time.
“They underestimated us at their place and I think they will be a completely different outfit to the one we faced at Fernie Fields.
“That’s the challenge we need to overcome and once again we are pitting ourselves against a top side from our league.
“However, I don’t have any issues playing top sides as it gives us a real good test of where we are. Continually playing the best in the division gives us a great environment to see where we are at as a group.
“Had we been playing bottom four sides every week then we would certainly of had more points but we may not know where we need to improve upon and by playing the best sides each week, we are all being given a thorough examination.
“So, another game, another test and another opportunity to grab three points and make a name for ourselves. We have come close but now we are looking to cross the line and take the scalp we crave.”
