Winslow United produced a superb comeback before suffering heartbreak in a thrilling 4-4 draw against New Bradwell St Peters on Tuesday.
At 3-1 down midway through the second half, United looked to be heading for defeat before a stirring comeback gave them a dramatic lead only for Bradwell to score a last-minute equaliser.
Jakub Kaspryzk gave United the advantage after 10 minutes before Bradwell hit back to take the lead witha sublime volley.
Winslow created chances and had a goal disallowed but they were made to pay when St Peter made it 3-1.But the hosts responded well as James Bishop made it 3-2 before he levelled moments later from the spot.
Bishop then slammed home a second penalty to complete his hat-trick and give Winslow a remarkable 4-3 lead.
But with minutes remaining, Peters snatched a dramatic equaliser to make it 4-4.
