Great Horwood have extended their unbeaten run to 28 games after easing to a 4-1 victory against Loughton Manor in the North Bucks & District League Premier Division.
Horwood have now won all of their first four games and top the table after goals from Sam Archer, Darren Sirrett, Andy Brunning and Frankey Tarrant.
Brackley Sports, meanwhile, succumbed to a 3-1 home defeat against Great Linford with Joe Davey grabbing a consolation.
In the Intermediate Division, Buckingham Town Reserves won a feisty encounter at Syresham 5-2 after the home side had two players sent off.
Bobby Cooney gave Town the lead before Ross Atkins, Jamie Delvalle and a Lee Dawson brace saw off Syresham.
Elsewhere in the division, Wicken Sports were held to a 3-3 draw against Pottersbury following a brace from Gentle and one for Diggins.
As for Brackley Sports reserves, their match was awarded as a win for AFC Santander after Brackley failed to raise a side.
There were disappointing results in Division One, especially for the University of Buckingham FC, who were thrashed 7-1 by leaders Bow Brickhill reserves.
Wicken Sports reserves also suffered a loss, as did Padbury Village and Marsh Gibbon.
In Division Two, Twyford United won a cracking game 5-4 against St George’s.
After going 2-0 down in 15 minutes, Twyford responded superbly with a brace from Sam Kransyk and Paul Evans while Adam Carr netted one to seal victory after a late rally from the hosts. But there were defeats elsewhere in the league with Westbury losing 4-2 at Yardley Gobion while Great Horwood reserves were beaten 3-2 at Comet MK despite goals from Adam Armitage and Don Schembre.
