Luton boss praises Brackley
LUTON Town manager Paul Buckle was full of praise for Brackley Town following the goalless draw between the sides at St James’ Park on Wednesday.
In a fairly uneventful encounter, only Stuart Fleetwood went close to scoring for the visitors as Brackley looked at ease against higher-level opposition.
Saints rarely threatened themselves but Buckle believed there was little difference in quality between the sides.
He said afterwards: “These are very tough games.
“There’s not a lot of difference between the sides, these players are all good players and this is way we came here – there’s not a lot of difference.
“The surface was great, they’ve been promoted and they got the ball forward quickly and tested us in the box.”
