Brackley Town U10s had a treat on Tuesday evening in the form of a training session from Northampton Town manager Aidy Boothroyd.

The team won the Stanair Cup in April, which was a penalty shoot out competition run by The Cobblers during half time of their league two fixtures last season.

The evening began with a visit to the changing rooms, followed by entrance onto the Sixfields pitch via the players tunnel.

There were then a series of activities to keep the players on their toes, including small sided games, crossbar challenge and mass penalty shoot out with Boothroyd in goal and all the players taking their shots at the same time.

The team would like to the Aidy, Joss Sheldon and all at Northampton town for putting the event on and making everyone so welcome.
