FOOTBALL: The league resumes this Saturday with a full programme of matches, kick-offs 2pm.

In the Premier Division, leaders Potterspury will be hoping to extend their lead at the top of the table with three points at Wolverton Town, while last season’s champions, fifth-placed Brackley Sports, host mid-table Loughton Manor.

Second-placed MK Wanderers Reserves, who have three games in hand on Potterspury, travel to Celtic MK for the B & B Junior Cup fourth round.Fourth-placed Thornborough Athetic have an opportunity to make ground on the tabletoppers with a visit to struggling Buckingham Town Reserves, who have managed just one win all season.

Grendon Rangers and Great Linford, in sixth and seventh, face each other and still have outside chances of challenging for the league title. Intermediate Division leaders Great Horwood host Bletchley Town Reserves in the Junior Cup fourth round.

Steeple Claydon, from the same division, are also in the cup and travel to Iver. Fourth-placed Brackley Sports Reserves travel to basement side Olney Town.

Division One pacesetters Stoke Hammond Wanderers entertain Deanshanger Athletic Reserves in their bid to stay top, with Bow Brickhill Reserves breathing down their necks close behind. Anchor side Westbury host Marsh Gibbon. City Colts Reserves lead Division Two and host improvers Real Padbury.
