Sports FC open up with two draws

A BUSY week both on and off the field for Brackley Sports has seen the pre-season campaign begin as well as new management teams being appointed alongside new sponsorship deals for the club’s sides.

Sports first team kicked off the clubs pre-season campaign with a 1-1 draw against Thame United Reserves as Ben Beasley scored for Brackley.

Elsewhere, the Sports ‘A’ team drew 4-4 with Thorplands United after goals from Dan Oliver, Shaun Atkins, Joe Davey and debutant Stuart Hempson.

Meanwhile, Robert Dick and Jon Faulkner have been confirmed as the new management team for Sports Reserves.

Brackley Sports have also announced another sponsorship deal secured this week with Brackley MOT Centre and the Direct Pizza Company sponsoring the reserves and ladies teams.
