Towcester Ladies Hockey Club continued their winning streak with all three picking up victories for the second weekend running.
The first team moved up to fourth in Midlands Division One with their third win of the season, beating Worcester Ladies 3-0.
In a totally one-sided affair, Tows camped inside the visitors’ half for the entire first half and opened the scoring when Laura Whittle neatly flicked over the defenders into the back post.
It was wave after wave of attack for Tows, with Whittle again firing across the D for Christina Picchianti to double the lead.
Goalkeeper Sue Willers was only called upon once to deny Worcester as Tows continued their dominance, adding a third and final goal through Ella Bevan.
The IIs team enjoyed an even greater victory, thrashing Olney 8-0. Laura Abbott scored the only goal of the first half from a well-worked short-corner routine before Lisa Groves and Nicola Pannell struck hat-tricks while Leanne Hirst scored one in the second half.
Towcester IIIs continued the winning streak with a 4-1 triumph over Rushden & Higham.
The visitors took the lead from a short-corner but goals from Marissa Marais, Natasha Shahin, Gemma Shields and Grace Roberts saw Tows home. Marais was named Player of the Match.
