WINSLOW United recorded their first home league win of the season with a thrilling 5-4 victory against Amersham in South Midlands Division Two.
Former Watford striker Claude Seanla was named in the starting line-up and it seemed to boost Winslow as they raced into a two-goal lead.
James Wardell scored the opener after his shot looped over the visiting goalkeeper before Drew Mitten lashed in a 25-yard thunderbolt.
Despite more pressure from Winslow, Amersham drew level at half time with two quick-fire goals from Martin Griggs.
Two goals from either side at the start of the second half made the scores 3-3 with Wardell grabbing his second.
Winslow then took control as captain and new signing Vinny Shrieves scored a brace to give Winslow a vital victory despite conceding late on.
United remain second from bottom but have played fewer games than the teams above them with a massive local derby to come on Saturday away at Buckingham Athletic.
