WINSLOW United have bolstered their squad with the additions of two new players this week.
The struggling South Midlands Division One side, who sit second from bottom, have brought in the experienced Vinnie Shrieves from Crawley Green FC, who will add some much-needed fire power to the front line.
Shrieves has scored 11 league goals in 13 appearances for Crawley Green in the current campaign and has played for Aylesbury United, Newport Pagnell Town and Wellingborough Town.
Winslow boss Perry Mercer has also signed young left-back Hateley Mercer, who came from Ampthill Town and has played for Aylesbury United and Hemel Hempstead Town’s youth team.
The squad is still a work in progress with Mercer and assistant manager Kit Bamber keen to bring in more quality over the next month.
Winslow are in action this afternoon when they host Chesham United Reserves.
