Winslow United threw away a two-goal lead on Tuesday to suffer a disappointing 3-2 away defeat at Kentish Town in SSML Division One.
United, who named Owusu Boeteng, Joe Kidd, Tony Fields and Luke Williamson in the starting XI, started brightly and deservedly went ahead when Jakub Kasprzyk produced a pinpoint through ball to Claude Seanla, who brushed off a defender’s challenge before lofting the ball over the Kentish goalkeeper.
Seanla then doubled his side’s advantage as he headed home a Vinny Shrieves cross in the 33rd minute.
Winslow had chances to increase their lead, with Seanla, Shrieves and Drew Mitten all going close, but Kentish fought back and pulled square with two goals from free-kicks.
Mitten again went close before the hosts completed the comeback with a late winner.
Winslow, who remain 10th, have two home games over the next four days, first hosting Southall before taking on FC Broxbourne Borough.
