A depleted KEA FC side were comfortably beaten 6-2 by Woodford United in the Banbury District and Lord Jersey FA Premier Division.
Suspensions, injuries and late withdrawals hampered KEA but they started brightly and took the lead in the seventh minute through Sam Donaldson following a neat passing move.
All the good work was undone within minutes, however, as Paul Beaver levelled before goals from Lee Worrall and another for Beaver gave the hosts a 3-1 half time lead.
Adam Hinton took just two minutes to extend Woodford’s advantage with further goals coming through Tony Powell and Jack Sanderson sealed the win despite Tom Bennett’s late consolation.
The win puts Woodford top while KEA lie sixth after three games.
This Saturday, KEA play host to Heyford Athletic.
