With a thaw now setting in after all festive fixtures were lost to the big freeze, many local clubs are set return to action for New Year bank holiday matches.
Zamaretto Premier Division side Brackley Town host Oxford City next Monday at St James Park, kick-off 3pm, after their derby clash at Banbury United fell victim to the weather earlier this week.
Saints, who had lost their last three games before the bad weather arrived, will be a looking for a morale-boosting three points against an Oxford side they comfortably beat at the start of this campaign.
Town have since dropped to 16th in the table, while Oxford are fifth from bottom.
Brackley host Cirencester Town the following Saturday, a side they also beat earlier in the season and will be hoping to take all six points if boss Jon Brady can muster a fit and strong squad after their enforced lay-off.
South Midlands Division One side Buckingham Athletic entertain New Bradwell St Peter also on Monday, kick-off 3pm, after their game at Amersham Town was postponed earlier this week.
Athletic are in 17th spot in the table and will be hoping for a sixth league of the season if they can beat Bradwell.
Next Wednesday, Buckingham Town, who had been steadily improving after a poor start in UCL Division One, travel to Potton United, kick-off 7.45pm. Town have a backlog of fixtures to catch up on due to the big freeze - more than any other local side.
Hellenic League Premier Division leaders Ardley United travel to Thame United on Monday, kick-off 3pm, as they bid to maintain their five-point lead at the top of the table.
In Division One West, Bicester Town host local rivals Launton Sports on Monday also, kick-off 3pm. Ardley and Bicester saw both their games fall victim to the weather last Monday.
Padbury United, Winslow United and Mursley United return to action the following weekend in the South Midlands Division Two.
The North Bucks League returns to action on Saturday Januay 8 after its festive break.
