Bicester Hockey Club are running a Back to Hockey course on the all-weather surface at Cooper School for six weeks from Thursday, June 6.

Each session will take place between 7.30-8.30pm and will cost £2 per session or £10 for all six. It is designed for women who would like to get back into hockey or have never played before.

The course will cover the basics of the game with a bit of fun and fitness thrown in. Anybody that then fancies progressing further can join the rest of the club when training restarts in August.

Club development officer Christ Birch said: “Back to Hockey is a way for women to try out the sport and if they wish to continue then Bicester can offer them hockey based around family or work commitments. There is no pressure to play every week.”
