In the National Daily Mail Foursome knock-out, Buckingham Golf Club’s Sam Newbould and Geoff Robb progressed through to the sixth round with solid 4&3 win over Shrivenham Park.
Buckingham’s midweek stableford, meanwhile, went to Steve Horsman after he shot 41 points, beating Michael Lowrie on countback, with Jack Roberts third.
Randy Harrison was the winner of Saturday’s National Playing Fields Association Medal with a nett 65. Colin Priest was second on 67 and Steve Lewis (68) third.
