Chandos Park maintain fine form

In-form Chandos Park picked up 11 points from their Bucks Cup encounter against Bletchley St Martins.

They continued that fine form into the National Top Club competition as they progressed into the next round after winning four of the five disciplines against Stony Stratford.

Scores were:

Two-wood: Bob Reynolds 14 Stony 16; Singles: John McAndrew 21 Stony 13; Pairs: Neil Holman, Don Savage 23 Stony 15; Triple: Clive Graves, Andy Hunt, Sam Wright 14 Stony 13; Rink four: Kevin Dawson, David West, John Finch, Paul Seymour 18 Stony 15.

Elsewhere, Chandos Park ladies travelled to Bletchley Town and came away 49-19 winners before the Park earned a draw against Wendover Bowls, which was followed by a 88-50 win away to North Crawley. Scores v Bletchley were: Sue Edwards, June Lawrence, Ann Thorne, Diane Form 19 Bletchley 13; Carolyn Hunt, M Edwards, Jean Thompson, Cyndy Lee 30 Bletchley 6.

On Friday, Chandos Park entertain Stony Stratford in the National 2x4 competition.
