DEAN March won Buckingham Golf Club’s first junior competition of the summer holidays after he racked up 38 stableford points in the Junior Stableford.
March was closely followed by Ben Oliver (36) while Edward Selby-Lowndes was third on 34 points.
The 15th round of the Dr Stableford Cup was back on Saturday with Tom Spurr heading the field on 41 points, beating Neil Caldwell on countback with Richard Davies third on 40.
On Sunday, the Carrick Claret Jug was up for grabs, which is played on the same day as the final round of the Open Championship and it sees players randomly paired with competitors playing in the final round of the Open.
The winner is the best aggregate score of the two competitors.
Mark Hodges and his partner, Miguel Angel Jimenez, took first place with a score of 135 (68/67) while Peter Frost and Nicolas Colsearts was second on 137 (72/65).
Nick Abbott and Charles Howell III were third on 138 while Nigel Franklin registered the best individual net score (65) of the day but was let down by his partner, Harris English, who shot 75.
