It was another successful weekend for Buckingham’s juniors with the U12 teams taking part in the County Championships.

The U12As (pictured above) dominated their pool matches, scoring 18 goals and conceding none against Aylesbury, Amersham and Marlow Bs, before going onto win their semi-final 4-0 over Wycombe. That set up a meeting with Marlow As in the final, where they lost a tight game 1-0 but still managed to qualify for the Regional Championships at Surbiton on March 22.

Buckingham U12Bs showed great spirit but lost their three pool matches to finish seventh.

Elsewhere, the U10As visited St Albans for their final match in the U12 Chiltern League and came away with a 2-0 victory to finish second in Division One, while the U14Bs recorded a 3-2 win in a friendly with Oxford Hawks.
