THE Peacock of Towcester have returned to the top of the Buckingham and Winslow Darts League Division One table after the postponement of the Three Cups A v Swan A match.
Peacock are now on 34 points thanks to a 9-0 away win at Whale A, who have dropped into the bottom two.
Brackley FC are back up to third having beaten bottom side Blackbird 8-1 while Two Brewers B and Three Cups B are both on 18 points and in joint fifth after the Brewers beat the Cups B 6-3.
In Division Two, Prince of Wales lead the way on 33 points following their fourth win out of four, this time an 8-1 victory against Mitre.
Into second place are the Swan B who won 5-4 over the Two Brewers A.
Great Horwood Cricket Club A are on 23 points after a 5-4 away win at Kings Head while Gawcott are also on 23 points and in third position having beaten a struggling Buckingham Cricket Club 7-2.
Division Three leaders Three Cups D remain top despite losing their first game of the season 5-4 against Green Man, who are second and just a point behind the leaders having played a game less.
Whale B are up to third – three points back from Green Man – as they won 5-4 away at fifth-placed Three Cups C.
British Legion Club have gone into fourth after winning away at Great Horwood Cricket Club B who are at the foot of the division.
Elsewhere, at the recent committee meeting, the draw for the Memorial Team K/o first round took place.
The first round draw, which will be played on Thursday, November 15, follows: Kings Head v Whale B, Three Cups A v Prince of Wales, British Legion v Swan B, Blackbird v Peacock, Whale A v Green Man, Two Brewers B v Great Horwood Cricket Club B. The remaining 10 teams in the league have a bye into the second round, which will be played in January 2013.
The draw for the Nick Hoddy Open Singles Knock-out also took place with 64 entries.
