ADAM Shepperd was first back for Brackley Running Club in the latest club championship event that was the Adderbury Three Spires challenge run over half a marathon.
Shepperd recorded a time of 1.33.49 hours with Tony Chapman close behind in 1.36.42 and Ricky Emms running 1.48.02.
Sarah Burns, who was running her last event for the club, recorded 1.53.12 while Heidi Lewis (1.59.36) and Sue Torrance (2.01.05) were not far back.
Other runners included debutant Dawn Breward (2.05.01) and Karen Dykes (2.19.02) while Tracey Philbey took part in the 10k event and recorded 1.12.02.
Elsewhere, Brackley runner Dean Lewis took up the BMW mountain Challenge on Exmoor and covered the gruelling 44 miles in 14.5 hours as he and his team came first in the event after beating 13 other teams.
