Three Cups A confirmed as champions

THREE Cups A have won Division One with 206 points in the Buckingham and Winslow Darts League after winning their 21st game of the season 8-1 away at Blackbird.

Peacock of Towcester finished second with a 6-3 victory at Division Two winners Two Brewers B.

Despite not playing, Swan A came third ahead of Whale A, who won 8-1 over Swan B.

Brackley FC slipped to fifth while Swan B finished bottom of Division Two.

Three Cups B are confirmed as runners-up behind Two Brewers B in Division Two despite not having a game.

Great Horwood Cricket Club also didn’t play but wrapped up fourth position in Division Two.

Fifth in Division Two came Phoenix courtesy of a 5-4 win over Brackley FC.

With very few matches remaining, Dave White currently has the highest checkout in Division One with 160 while Andy Arnold is the Division Two leader on 152

Two Brewers A will have the chance to win Division Three when they play their final match of the season having beaten Kings Head A 7-2.

Currently top of the division is Crown Gawcott, who beat Three Cups C 7-2, but they have played all their matches and only lead by one point.

Buckingham Cricket Club finished third in Division Three after winning 6-3 over Division Four leaders Crown Twyford.

Twyford are 15 points ahead of George Winslow and have played one game more.

Green Man finished fourth in Division Three having won 5-4 at Great Horwood Cricket Club B.

A 7-2 win against Royal Oak meant Whale B completed their fixtures on a high.

There are four matches left to play in Division’s Three and Four with Chris Horsler (144) and Gary Lee (111) currently leading the highest checkout charts.
