YOUTH FOOTBALL: Towcester Town U14 White trounced Corby Diamonds 8-3 at home.
Towcester started brightly and went 3-0 up within the first 15 minutes through James Snook (2) and Mandla Chavbonga.
Corby scored a well taken goal after 25 minutes before Snook completed his hat-trick to make it 4-1 at half time.
Tows scored second half goals from Christian Loveless, Snook and man of the match James Olejnik (2) to round off an excellent performance.

Tows fell behind 2-0 in the first half but pulled a goal back through a Keoni Benjamin strike from the edge of the box which rolled into the bottom corner.

Towcester conceded in the first few minutes and were under pressure for much of the first half. Alistair Bain pulled off some fine saves and it was only 1-0 going into the second half. Tows suffered a couple of injuries and played with Emile Benjamin and Louis Swinden as front runners all second half. Swinden broke through to equalise, Martin Curson scored through a fine free-kick after James Foster was brought down and Benjamin went close with a great run and shot. Hawks were still dangerous and equalised with seven minutes to go.

Tows started strongly and soon went 1-0 up when Will Foden raced clear and finished superbly. Jordan Lovell got the second goal with a cool finish and Foden added his second to take Towcester into halftime 3-0 up. Falcons got back into the game with a disputed penalty and then made it 3-2 soon after. However, the clinching goal came when Harry James powered home a screamer from outside the box and this clinched the game, although there was still time for Brod Wise to make a superb penalty save in the last minute.

Ben Preece opened the scoring for Tows midway through the first half and added a second minutes later. Will Orchard scored twice to make it 4-0 at half time. Second half goals from Will Orchard(4), Charlie Daniells(2), Tyler Dutton and Brad Porter completed a strong Towcester performance.

Harry Oddy broke the deadlock for Tows when he calmly finished past the Rangers keeper to make it 1-0 at half time. In the second period Oddy scored again for a 2-0 scoreline. Rangers then created some good chances, but were met by man of the match Harry Watson in fantastic form in goal.Towcester Town U9 Foxes beat Bugbrooke Yellow 3-1.
