Ryan Harper-Ellam, a young racer in UK motorsport, is needing to secure further funding to fill the required budget to make his car racing debut.

The 16-year-old, from Brackley, has obtained his race license and is set for the next racing step from karts to cars.

After recently testing at Silverstone, he said: “Having tested the Renault Clio it was really was good, I loved it. I have driven Ginetta’s and I have tested the Formula Jedi a great single seater. They are all great to drive. I am offered a seat in the Michelin Clio cup series with SWB Motorsport, in Daventry and hope I can raise the budget. I would like to thank Simon Baldry and Jack Dex from SWB Motorsport who gave me the opportunity to test the Clio at Silverstone.”

Ryan, currently third out of 47 competitors in the Junior TKM championship, is enjoying some fantastic racing with some of the top karters around the country and against the odds with a minimal budget.

He is currently in his GCSE year and is set to achieve his targets, and is aiming to attend the Motor Sport Academy (MSA) as well as Silverstone’s UTC college to further progress his education, racing career and be a great ambassador for sponsors, the MSA and UK motorsport.

If you would like to come on board and assist the young racer, from Brackley, Northants, and promote brand awareness for your company, contact Ryan on 07879 880228 or via email at jsrharperellam@tiscali.co.uk.
