Teams prepare for Brazil race

Teams competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) are preparing for the fourth round of the 2013 season that will take place in Brazil in three weeks time.

One team making all the necessary plans are the Silverstone-based G Drive Racing and Delta-ADR, who will field two cars in the 6 Hours of Interlagos race.

So far the this season the WEC has visited Silverstone, Spa-Francorchamps and Le Mans, and the approaching race in Brazil is the first fly away race of the 2013 campaign.

The cars have already been shipped to Brazil, and during the next two-and-a-half weeks further team equipment will arrive in Brazil ahead of the fourth race of the season.

John Martin will lead the G Drive Racing driver line-up in the teams number 26 Oreca 03-Nissan. He said: “It will be good to race again. It feels ages since Le Mans and I think we are all ready to get back on the track.”

The Silverstone-based Aussie will be joined in the G Drive car by Roman Rusinov and Mike Conway, while Tor Graves, James Walker and Antonio Pizzonia will drive the number 25 Delta-ADR entry.
