It’s all set to be another busy weekend of sporting action in the area with football and rugby dominating the schedule in Buckingham, Brackley and Bicester.
In-form Brackley Town have a break from league action as they take on Daventry Town at St James’ Park in the second qualifying round of the FA Cup.
Currently sitting three points clear at the top of the Blue Square North having won eight out of eight, Saints will eye up the chance to go on a cup run when they begin on the road to Wembley at 3pm tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Ardley United have the chance to close the gap on the leaders in the Hellenic Premier Division as they host high-flying Wantage Town at the Playing Fields.
Elsewhere, Buckingham Town need a win to move away from the bottom in UCL Division One as they visit Potton United while Buckingham Athletic make the trip to Kings Langley and Winslow go to Hoddesdon Town in South Midlands League Division One.
Top-of-the-table Great Horwood have a week off in the North Bucks & District Premier Division as Brackley Sports travel to Loughton Manor and Silverstone play Grendon Rangers.
As for rugby, Buckingham travel to Slough for the first round of the Bucks County Shield kicking off at 2.30pm, Brackley visit Coventry and Towcestrians play unbeaten Peterborough Lions.
Finally, Buckingham Ladies hockey team continue their question for promotion into the Premiership when they host ISCA at 12pm tomorrow.
