FIREFIGHTERS remained at the scene of a fire at a 60,000 sq ft factory in Northampton this morning, Thursday.
Several crews stayed at the scene of the blaze in Northampton's Brackmills industrial estate yesterday, Wednesday, after hot spots were located.

Twelve fire crews from around the county had been called to tackle the fire at just after 2pm on Tuesday.

The fire is at a company which supplies flooring to the retail industry and all employees have been accounted for.

Early signs suggest an aerosol at the plant may have split and the flames come into contact with one of the factory boilers, triggering an explosion.
