School receives special visitors
PARENTS and carers received a glimpse of daily life at Yardley Gobion CofE Primary School during an open day recently.
South Northants MP, Tim Boswell, district councillor Ian McCord, governors and local residents joined pupils, teachers and parents for a morning assembly on Friday, July 4.
After watching pupils receive certificates of acheivement, the guests were taken on a tour of the school seeing children hard at work in their lessons.
Visitors also had a chance to see artwork by the children and in particular work they produced during a day dedicated to the Biblical theme of the creation.
Mr Boswell said: "I think it's a very good school, a very positive and happy one. We had a jolly good assembly, celebrating some very high quality work."
