CROWDS cheered as hundreds of team members took part in the second Buckingham Cancer Research UK Relay for Life on Saturday and Sunday.

Organisers say the amount raised by the sponsored 24-hour relay at Bourton Meadow School has already exceeded 2006's total of £69,000 - and could be much higher once all money has been gathered by the end of the month.

Visitors enjoyed warm weather and a range of entertainment, including live music and dance displays, as around 300 people from more than 20 teams completed laps of the Bourton Meadow field for 24 consecutive hours.
