A NEW DVD of 23 Pioneer Regiment's historic Bicester homecoming parade is selling out fast.
Click on the Play button to see a photo slideshow of the homecoming parade by Advertiser & Review photographer Steven Prouse.

The parade, arranged by Bicester Town Council and other local authorities as a tribute to troops recently returned from duties in Afghanistan, Bosnia and Iraq, was one of the largest gatherings of troops and well-wishers ever witnessed in the town.

Bicester Town Mayor John Cozens said: "The DVD will make a fine way to
remember the day, and all proceeds will go to the Army Benevolent Fund."
Around 600 troops paraded through Bicester town centre on Sunday, February 3, and unprecedented crowds turned out to welcome them.

The DVD costs £10, available from Bicester Town Council's offices in The Garth in Launton Road. The two-disc set, containing highlights of the parade, the church service and picnic, can also be posted on request. Contact Bicester Town Council on 01869 252915 for more information.
