BUCKINGHAM continued their impressive start to the season with a tremendous 54-15 victory over south Bucks side Beaconsfield last Saturday.

The visitors were overwhelmed in the second half, conceding 35 points in as many minutes as Buckingham produced a 40-minute performance possibly the best ever seen by the home supporters.
Buckingham now have two wins out of two and lead the Southern Counties North table, with Milton Keynes their nearest pursuers.
Great credit must be given to coaches Adam Izzard and Ben Wilson, who have successfully harnessed the undoubted talent at their disposal to produce a side full of running from all parts of the field.
The game was only three minutes old when Beaconsfield were penalised for offside, the first of many which was to cost them dear at the hands of Henry Colver. The inside centre put in a faultless performance with the boot, kicking six conversions and four penalties for 100% success on the day. He scored three tries for a personal tally of 39 points, breaking the record set by Simon Smith in the 1996/7 season of 24 points in one league game.
Buckingham were 16-3 ahead after 20 minutes after superb running by Turvey and Chase had put Colver over a try. But Beaconsfield hit back with a converted try totally against the run of play.
Sterling work by the forwards once again put Beasconsfield on the back foot and a fourth Colver penalty made it 19-10 at the change round.
In the second half the floodgates opened as the home side provided a master class in attacking rugby at its best. Five more tries including a penalty try for a trip by a Beaconsfield defender were scored by a rampant Buckingham.
Dave Hawkins went over after a delightful dummy and Jamie Holston also got on the score sheet with an excellent kick and chase.
One piece of disappointing defending allowed Beaconsfield their solitary score, but they were totally outgunned throughout.
It was fitting that Colver should go over in the final minute after another sweeping move through the exhausted Beaconsfield defence, his conversion bringing the entertainment to a close.
Buckingham II came up against a strong Amersham & Chiltern side, losing a hard-fought game 29-7. Buckingham's try was scored by Twelftree and converted by Macway.
Buckingham III visited Olney III and returned with an amazing 106-10 victory.
The scorers were: Tries: Cowen (9), J. Lambert (4), Stone, Bentley, Stevens, J. Smith, John Lambert. Conversions: Cowen (5), J. Lambert, J.Smith, Wakelin.
Buckingham under-17s played the first of their OBBL matches last Sunday, losing at Grove 23-14. Buckingham scored first after St John Karssiens and Rob Laird swapped passes for Laird to run-in under the posts, making his conversion easier. Grove hit back with two penalties as Buckingham led narrowly at half time.
Grove were first to score in the second period, with a close-range try, but Buckingham mounted a series of attacks close to the Grove line, resulting in a penalty try for continual infringements. Rob Laird converted, enabling Buckingham to re-take the lead, but it was Grove who scored two further tries and a conversion to win the game.
