ROUND Four of the national hovercraft racing championships was held at Claydon House in Middle Claydon at the weekend.
The event is held at Claydon House each year by permission of the National Trust and the Verney family, and is organised by Chilterns Branch of the Hovercraft Club of Great Britain.

The course takes full advantage of the hovercrafts' all-terrain ability with land and water sections, and transitions where craft can become airborne.

Spectators gathered on a steep bank above the lake to enjoy races in a variety of engine categories.

Guests were also able to get a close look at the race craft and meet drivers during paddock breaks, and a fancy-dress beer festival was held on the Saturday night.
