Organised by the Towcester Lions, Rotary Club and Centurions, and supported by the town council, the annual celebration raised money for three local charities - Towcester MIND, Deafconnect Northants and the
Warks and Northants Air Ambulance.

Organising committee chairman John Kimber, said: "Saturday saw another varied programme of music offering something for everyone, young and old. Our thanks to all the local companies who helped sponsor the event and to the musicians who helped make the event so successful."

Pupils from Towcester Rock School previewed the main event with a well-received concert in Towcester Town Hall last Friday.

The main event started at 6pm on Saturday evening, with concerts in 10 venues across the town.

The varied programme featured acts including the Peruvian pan piper Chan Chan, Towcester Choral Society, the Milton Keynes Pipe Band, local rock group The Bromptons, barbershop group 5ways Chorus, and jazz men the Lincoln Noel Trio.

Morris dancers from the Royal Oak and Michael Harris' fairground organ performed in Market Square.
