LITTER BLITZ: WHAT an amazing turn-out on such a glorious sunny morning!
Thanks to all the adults and children who came along to give a hand in clearing our village of rubbish and litter abandoned along roadsides and in ditches.
There were fewer tyres this year but we did have to release a computer monitor from a hedge and found enough car parts to build a new one!
The sad note is that the day after, new litter had to be retrieved along Mursley Road and Wood End.
BREAKFAST: THANK you to the organisers and congratulations to all the teenagers and young people who worked so hard to provide cooked breakfast in Mursley Village Hall last Saturday for 150 people!
You are a credit to your villages as well as to your parents.
The breakfast and service was excellent and well done on raising over £500 for Helen and Douglas House Hospice.
CHURCH CLEAN: SOME of the usual gang of stalwarts who turn up each year for the church clean are sunning themselves in better climes so it would be great to see new faces tomorrow, Saturday, from 10am onwards in the church. There are jobs for everyone.
Tea and coffee will be in constant flow so why not bring a picnic and join us in the fun?
If you prefer to be outside, there are opportunities to develop skills in clearing the churchyard too!
Many hands make light work so please give your support if you have a free hour or two.

If anyone is interested in having a box in which to collect their pennies for this worthy cause, please contact me in the first instance. Thank you.

The day will start at 10am with a short act of worship and then activities will take place until lunch at 12.30pm.
Each child is asked to bring a plate of something to share but drinks will be provided.
At around 2.30pm the activities will finish so that everyone can gather in Adstock church for the Good Friday Family Service at 3pm and afterwards there will be tea and hot cross buns in the village hall.
