Two national treasures, Cadbury and the National Trust are joining forces to bring chocolate-flavoured egg-citement to the Easter holiday.
From Good Friday to Easter Monday, April 18 to 21, children are invited to become Cadbury Eggsplorers as they follow a trail to win themselves a chocolate egghead prize.
Uncover the spring treasure at Stowe along winding paths, with spring flowers in bloom, through the trees and temples to find the clues.
Keep your eyes open for images which reveal the signs of spring along the way.
The trail will start from the Lake Pavilions, just inside the entrance to the landscape gardens, with views across the lake up to Stowe House.
It will then lead you on past the Temple of Friendship and to the secret Lamport Garden, through the wooden gate down the steps down to Brown’s Cascade where the waterfall runs into the Eleven Acre Lake.
At the end of the trail, report back to the Eggsplorers’ Base Camp to stamp your passport and receive your prize. Stay a little longer to enjoy tasty Easter treats from the café and shop for spring gifts in the New Inn visitor centre shop.
Cost £2.50 per trail. Normal admission applies.
