NERVOUS patients waiting in the dentist’s surgery at The Gallery now have some pleasant distraction to while away the time.

Year 10 and GCSE students from The Buckingham School have some of their work on display around the aptly named The Gallery Dental and Implant Centre, in Cornwall Place.

The artwork was available to see for the first time on Friday.

Curriculum leader for art at the school, Victoria Richardson, said it was great to have a more permanent exhibition space for the students’ work.

She said: “It is a really good opportunity for us as it is permanent exhibition space and the children get to see their work outside the school, which is the important thing.”
