THESE are the latest entries into our ‘I Love Bicester’ photography competition.
The contest gives readers the chance to send us their pictures showing why they love the town so much – with the winner of the best picture of the month taking home a fabulous 12in x 12in canvas.
This week’s submissions come from Chris Chettle and Sallyann Rigby.
Chris sent in his image of his wife Catherine braving a very cold looking trip out for the weekly shop last winter.
He said: “I love the old town in Bicester and the history that goes a long with some of the buildings fascinates me.”
Sallyane submitted her picture of the town’s Magistrates’ Court – along with a lament for Bicester not to lose its heritage.
“I walk past it most days and on this particular day it looked great through the daffodils so I snapped it,” she said.
“I understand the Magistrates’ Court is due to close soon. I love Bicester because it’s home and I hate to see it’s assets disappearing.”
The competition is run in partnership with 86 Creative Print.
