One-of-a-kind artworks will be on sale once again at a town pub to raise money for a national charity.

Buckingham Art for All’s (BAFA) spring exhibition is taking place at The Woolpack, on Well Street, in Buckingham, on May 17, 11am to 8pm, and May 18 from 11am to 6pm

Hoping to repeat the success of last year, BAFA members have, once again, produced anonymous original mini-paintings which will be given away in exchange for a donation of £10 to Macmillan Cancer Support at the exhibition.

In addition to the charity fundraising pictures, the exhibition will include a variety of works for sale by group members.

Also for fans of art in the Buckingham and Winslow area, it’s time for Bucks Open Studios from June 7 to 22.

This year, artists from around the two towns have joined together to form an interactive art trail with a special new children’s trail of questions.

Special art trail maps with further details are available to download from www.bucksopenstudios.org.uk/art_trails.asp and www.buckingham-art.co.uk.

Paper copies of the trail will also be available from this month.

There will also be the usual artists’ demonstrations and hands-on activities suitable for a variety of age groups.
