Strictly Come Dancing professionals Brendan Cole and Aliona Vilani will be coming to Milton Keynes Theatre on January 17 for their Licence To Thrill tour.
Aliona will be stepping into the leading lady shoes after French Dancing with the Stars champion Fauve Hautot pulled out having injured her cruciate ligaments in her knee.
Licence to Thrill, a two-hour dance and big band extravaganza, features a cast of 14 musicians and six dancers performing waltzes, foxtrots, quicksteps, tangos and American smooths as well as Latin dances.
The band is lead by musical director Barry Robinson and includes vocalists Ian Mackenzie and Julie Maguire and some of Britain’s best musicians.
They will perform songs from across the decades from Nat King Cole to Gladys Knight to Michael Bublé.
There is a small nod to James Bond with Gladys Knight’s Licence to Kill and a dance-off between the male dancers in Live and Let Die.
The show is coming to Milton Keynes Theatre on January 17 and Oxford New Theatre on February 14.
