The centre’s farm shop was offering free cheese, jam and chutney tastings and a chance to win a car for £1 with County Chevrolet.

The head of the Oxford Wicker Man was also on display.

Avenue manager, Daniel Cooper, said the event raised £2,000 for Garth Day Time Support, which helps people with learning disabilities.

He said: “We were pleased with the amount we raised and there was quite a lot of support from local people which was fantastic.”
