There’s a chance to meet one of the best-loved children’s characters, Peppa Pig, on Sunday.
Peppa will be visiting the Bucks Railway Centre on Sunday, making appearances at intervals during the day, and there’s sure to be great excitement each time she appears.
As well as the cheeky little pig, there’s plenty to see and do at the railway centre – including free steam train rides, free face painting and the Miniature Railway with lots to see on the long ride (small extra charge for rides).
With plenty of nice picnic areas in interesting parts of the centre, you can bring your own picnic, or buy hot and cold food and drinks in the visitor centre refreshment rooms.
The visitor centre has lots of things to look at, including a big, green steam engine, where visitors can have a lesson on how to drive a steam train.
The Travelling Post Office Coach,on its own platform, has information on moving and sorting mail, from the earliest horse-drawn coaches, as well as lots about the Great Train Robbery.
Children can have a go at sorting some letters into the right places and write and send a postcard in the special letterbox.
And there’s a gift shop for souvenirs of your day out.
