FOUR sell out shows helped members of the Silverstone Amateur Dramatic Society raise £400 for several south Northants charities last month.
Donations collected during last month’s production of Once Upon a Time have been given to the Richard Odell ITU appeal, Silverstone Pre-School, The Silverstone Academt in Kenya, and the Silverstone Methodist Chapel.
Panto co-director Heather Deritter said: “We were delighted that our panto was such a success, We have never before had full houses at all of our performances. Thanks to the genorousity of the audiences we have raised £400, which we are very happy to give to these four very worth locally based charities.”
The Richard Odell appeal after Mr Odell’s life was saved by those the Northampton ITU after a car accident.
