BUCKINGHAM: Old Gaol and the Tourist Information Centre open today from 10am to 4pm. Easter hunt around the museum, £1 plus admission charge, includes a prize. 01280 823020.

BUCKINGHAM: Passion Play at the Old Gaol, from 11am, meditation in the parish church, from 2pm to 3pm.

BUCKINGHAM: A weekend of local music at The Kings Head, Friday - Tombraider disco; Saturday - live band Scratchplate Reloaded, a rock covers band from Banbury and Sunday - Lucky Jack, headed by local lass Suzy Smith, also drink and food promotions.

BUCKINGHAM: Joey Essex, from The Only Way is Essex, will be appearing at Thirteen High Street, from 9pm, complimentary cocktails from 8pm, magician performances, DJ from 9pm, last entry at 11pm,

Saturday, April 7

BUCKINGHAM: From 2pm, Rose & Castle Morris will be performing traditional clog morris dances from the North West of England outside the Old Gaol Museum.

TOWCESTER: Towcester & District Art Society spring exhibition, Towcester Town Hall, 9am to 5pm and April 8, 10am to 4.30pm, free admission, refreshments, raffle, visit website www.towcesterart.com

GREATWORTH: Trio Meridium performing at The Inn, Greatworth, from 8.30pm.

Sunday, April 8

BUCKINGHAM: Veteran’s football match, at Buckingham Athletic Sports and Social Club, kick off 10.30am, barbecue at noon, children’s egg hunt for ages two to 10 at 12.30pm (small charge) plus colouring competition where the winner will receive a prize, a tombola stall, and a licensed bar, noon until 6pm, details on 01280 816945.

TINGEWICK: Cream teas and displays at St Mary Magdelene Church, over the Easter weekend, exhibitions from the Winslow & District Art Society, the Tingewick Historical Society, a display of flowers, display to celebrate the 350th anniversary of the Book of Common Prayer, church open on April 8 and 9, between 2pm and 5pm.

BUCKINGHAM: SS Peter and Paul, 8am, holy communion, 10am, family communion, 6pm, Ignite informal service with holy communion.
