THE third Swan Festival of Music kicks off in Stewkley at 4pm this Saturday with, as always, an eclectic line-up of bands to entertain the masses.
First up on stage is Leighton singer-songwriter, Gemma Aguilar, who is known for her distinctive voice and personality to match. She has been writing and performing music from a young age but, over the last year, she has taken the live circuit by storm. She has appeared at top venues such as Proud in Camden and at some fantastic festivals. Last summer she opened for the boy band Blue, and one of her songs ‘Sunshine’ was featured in one of July’s episodes of Hollyoaks
The second band on is Social Resin, a five piece acoustic band from Newport Pagnell followed onto the stage by the return of local group Isabelle, a six piece female fronted originals act that has an edgy pop rock sound with a twist of funk and soul! Isabelle always gets the crowd up singing and dancing at every gig so come prepared to boogie.
There will also be a pig roast, bouncy castle and barbecue plus some very special guest beers to try out. Entrance is free.
